Concept

Tres Block questions what urban theater typology should be. A theater is a public space for the people who come to see performances, but at the same time, it may not be a public space who are not involved in such activities. Therefore, it is important to provide a "real" public space in a theater. Tres Block splits a large mass into three pieces so that in between space of these pieces can be occupied by public. The outer public space is also integrated with inner performance space so that the theater can organize fully public events.
