Concept
This project address how an atomic architecture can be a platform to present mobility of bit. Throughout history, mobility has been developed through many different means, such as horse, wagon, train, car, and ship. However, though those different means, essence of mobility, expansion of contents, was kept throughout periods.
Therefore, the Korean Pavilion is to be a box that provides platform to expand contents, which mostly are digitally formatted these days. Octagonal boxes are stacked to create facades to screen digital information. The boxes are covered with fabric so that the rotating boxes can be conceived as a single gesture that could also glow at night.
